Swapna Awar, the Founder and Director of Scholars Tutorial, established the tuition centre in 2003 in Harrow with a vision to deliver high-quality, personalised education that truly makes a difference. With over 20 years of experience in the field, she has guided thousands of students toward academic success.

Holding an MBA in Human Resources and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Swapna combines her business insight with a deep-rooted passion for teaching. Her unique leadership approach balances academic rigour with empathy and mentorship — creating a nurturing yet focused learning environment for students of all levels.

Under her direction, Scholars Tutorial has grown into a trusted name for both in-person and online tuition, specialising in 11+, 12+, 13+ entrance exams, KS2 & KS3 support in English and Maths.

Swapna continues to lead from the front — mentoring tutors, supporting families, and ensuring that every child is given the tools, structure, and confidence they need to thrive.
